Osteopathic manual therapy addresses a wide range of health conditions through removal of restrictions of motion found throughout the body. The practitioner will assess the many joints and tissues of the body (fascia, muscles, ligaments etc.) looking for restriction of motion and asymmetry. By addressing the restrictions found, proper function can be restored. Through removal of restriction and asymmetry, the body’s self-healing and self-regulation can function without interference. The body is a dynamic unit of function and one part cannot be separated from the whole; treatment to one area of the body can have a great effect on all other areas of the body. The practitioner will utilize their principled skill-set through assessment and treatment as founded by Dr. Andrew Taylor Still.

The lamps in infrared saunas focus a penetrating warmth directly on your skin to bring heat-therapy benefits.
6 Health Benefits of using an infrared sauna:
1. Improved Heart Health; Studies show that infrared saunas can help boost heart health and reduce blood pressure.
2. Soothing sore muscles; The improved blood circulation brought on by an infrared sauna session can help speed up muscle recovery following physical activity
3. Pain relief; Researchers found that infrared sauna therapy “may be a promising method for treatment of chronic pain.”
4. Relaxation; Warming your body seems to warm your soul, too. Setting aside some sauna time may help decrease depression, anxiety and stress. Basically, think of it as a meditation session in warmer temperatures.
5. Catching ZZZs; A bonus benefit to being more relaxed? Better sleep, which has also been linked to sauna use.
6. Fighting off illness; There’s evidence that regular sauna use can help you avoid the common cold, says Dr. Young. Saunas also reduce oxidative stress, which is associated with cardiovascular disease, cancer and degenerative diseases like dementia.

Our Infrared sauna delivers what its name promises because of the unique full spectrum heater mix. Two heater types work together. Sunlighten’s patented SoloCarbon far infrared heaters send the high quality and high quantity infrared wavelengths that penetrate deep tissue, halogen heaters push the air temp up to 165 degrees F, all with Sunlighten’s proprietary design that produces virtually no EMFs.

Reflexology

Reflexology is a therapeutic practice that involves applying pressure to specific points on the feet, hands, or ears. These points are believed to correspond to different organs and systems in the body. By stimulating them, reflexology aims to promote relaxation, improve circulation, and support overall wellness.
